Here at City Motors and S J Cook & Sons Renault we are able to carry out MOT tests on all class vehicles ensuring your vehicle complies with key safety and environmental requirements.
The first MOT test is required once your vehicle is 3 years old. After that, it will need an MOT every 12 months. All MOTs will have a minimum 12 month pass date.
You can have an MOT carried out on your vehicle any time, but if it is taken more than a calendar month before expiry of your current certificate, the new certificate will be valid for 12 months from test date.
If the vehicle is removed from the testing station for repair and returned for retest within 10 working days following the day of failure, then only a partial retest is needed and a partial retest fee is charged. In any other case a full retest is required and the full MOT test fee will be charged.
