At City Motors Renault and Dacia we are excited to be expanding our Sales Team. We are looking to boost our team with a Sales Manager who will join us at our dealership based on Pioneer Park, Brislington.

Main Job Purpose

In the role of Sales Manager, you will ensure we always provide a professional sales experience which is correctly delivered to every customer.  You will be responsible for a busy sales department and will ensure that the team continuously deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction whilst ensuring the operation is run both efficiently and profitably and as such maximising the departments performance. 

You will ensure budgeted or targeted profitability is met through the optimisation of sales and peripheral income opportunities combined with appropriate control of both costs and expenditure.   In addition, you will ensure that compliance with the company’s obligations regarding FCA, Data protection, sales contracts, deal files and all relevant documentation, systems, and associated paperwork is always achieved.

It will be your responsibility to allocate agreed sales volume targets to the sales teams within 24 hours of commencement of the applicable period. You will assist the team of sales executives to achieve their personal targets in respect of both volume and peripheral income. Through encouragement and motivation, you will ensure the team deliver the results required. You will also be responsible for maintaining discipline in relation to showroom controls & sales rotas as well as monitoring and reporting on sales prospecting and follow-up activities within the team to generate additional sales business and retention of existing customers.

You will take pride in representing both City Motors and the Renault and Dacia brands to the very highest standard.

About you:

You will be an existing sales manager within the automotive industry with a proven track record, who is looking for a new challenge. With previous experience of managing a team, as well as the sales knowledge that is required to be successful in this role, you will be a customer focused individual that possesses a passion for delivering exceptional customer care. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with experience of working as part of a team with shared objectives and personal performance goals.
